My experience with Vani was spectacular from the very first day I reached out to her. I felt as if she was genuine and could feel her kindness all from a text message. I know text messages can be misconstrued often, however, with Vani it was different. She reached out to me in a timely manner and our chat seemed as if we were friends whom haven’t seen or spoken to each other in awhile and just reconnected. I told her my story how my husband and I eloped in May and that my family was coming into town so I decided to have a last minute wedding with all my close relatives. I needed her for 4th of July; one of the busiest Holidays in America. As I recall, Vani had family in town that day whom she made very clear that she wanted to spend time with that day. I completely understood because family is very important to me. The fact that she was able to make time for me on one of the busiest holidays of the year really showed her dedication towards her craft and her clients.

As I mentioned earlier, my husband and I eloped and decided to have a backyard wedding. Everything was literally last minute, the dress the jewelry the invites and Vani. Vani turned me into the bride I never imagined due to the fact it was a last minute wedding. My makeup, my hair and my entire ensemble appeared as if I was getting ready to be featured in a bridal magazine and not a backyard wedding. Vani went over the top for me and made me feel as beautiful as any bride could be on their wedding day. I felt as if I was absolutely having my own fairy tale wedding every time I saw myself. Vani has left such an impression on myself and my family, that only two years later during my sisters wedding I made sure that we were able to book Vani to do all of our makeup for the big day, and again, she left us all speechless. I wish her luck on her future, as she deserves all the business she gets, because she is very worthy of it.

I want to start off by saying Vani is an extremely sweet, kindhearted individual. She genuinely cares for her clients and goes above and beyond to ensure they're 110% pleased with her work. She listens to you and gets feedback while working with you. I was a bridesmaid in my best friends wedding and Vani did an amazing job, even with short notice and at a press for time. What I appreciate most in a makeup artist is creativity and an artistic ability and willingness to listen and understand specifically what their client’s needs and wants are. Vani is so much more than that. Not only is she professional, but she’s kind and gracious. I had the honor of having Vani as my makeup artist for my engagement ceremony, my dye-rub (dig-dutty/maticoor) and for my wedding. For all of these events, all the looks were total perfection! I couldn’t have been happier. One of my favorite experiences with her was during my wedding. As we all know, weddings can be very stressful and sometimes changes happen at the very last minute, though this is the last thing anyone needs on such a stressful day. Vani was so gracious and more than willing to accommodate all the last minute additions/changes and pulled each look off perfectly and with ease. She made my Mom and Aunt look like movie stars and even now I still get questions from friends and family as to who did their makeup and hair. Vani is one of the most punctual, creative and efficient makeup artist that I have worked with and I can’t thank her enough for all that she did to make my most special day even more perfect. I feel so blessed and happy that she was part of my big day and although my wedding is over, I still look forward to having my makeup and hair done by her for future events.

Vani is more than just a makeup artist. She is the Fairy Godmother who has come to slay your face. For my cousin's wedding I was nervous on branching out and finding a makeup artist to do my makeup as I was one of the bridesmaids. I couldn’t be more happy and pleased with my decision in choosing Vani, who I found on Instagram. She completely surprised me and surpassed my expectations. She is very sweet, kind, soft spoken, funny and most importantly professional. She caters to your needs and requests on how you envisioned yourself looking for your special day. I’m always nervous on using dark colors as an eye shadow due to my skin complexion and Vani totally changed my whole perspective. Not only did she grant me the look I desired, but she added some sparkle and glitter and constantly reassured me during the process that it’s not too much. When she showed me my final look I was speechless. Never would I have thought a dark color would look so flawless on me. She exceeded my expectations on the look more than what I envisioned. Not only will I be hiring Vani for future looks, I would most definitely recommend Vani to everyone for their special occasion.

Vani is beyond amazing! She did my mom's and my hair and makeup for my wedding. For my mom, she was able to do subtle looks for the ceremony and reception and for me, she created 3 very different looks for all the different events--from a colorful Mehendi night to a dramatic Indian bride to a more soft glam reception look--and they all looked so beautiful. On top of all that, she's so sweet and down to earth and easy to talk to. She felt like part of the family! I was so stressed the day of my ceremony and she really calmed me down, even after I cried off my makeup twice (before she got to the setting spray). I cannot recommend her enough!

Shivani is an excellent makeup artist. She did my makeup for a few important events and I def received lots of compliments on how much I glowed. She tries her best to match the look you want and then some. I’ve referred her to close friends who continue to book her and will do so again! Proud to officially say she’s family.

Vani is an amazing person in general and is so talented! She did my makeup for my bridal photo shoot and my wedding! I was extremely satisfied with the looks she went with! I am not knowledgeable in the makeup department and told her I just wanted something more natural and something to bring my blue eyes out and she ran with it! I was her first client with a combo of very pale skin, blue eyes and red hair; she nailed it! I would hire her again and again!
